Restoration & Repair
Every piece of furniture has a story.
Whether it's a treasured family heirloom, a much-loved antique, or a favourite piece that has simply seen years of use, our skilled craftsmen can restore it with the care and attention it deserves.
At Clock House Furniture, we have been designing and handcrafting fine furniture in Scotland since 1990. The same traditional joinery skills, upholstery expertise and specialist finishing techniques that go into creating our bespoke furniture are also applied to restoring existing pieces.

Whether your furniture requires a sympathetic repair or a complete restoration, we aim to preserve its original character while ensuring it can be enjoyed for many years to come.
Every Restoration is Unique
No two restoration projects are ever the same.
The age, construction, materials and condition of each piece determine the work involved, which is why every restoration is individually assessed before we provide a quotation.
We welcome enquiries for:
- Antique furniture
- Modern furniture
- Dining tables and chairs
- Cabinets and cupboards
- Coffee and side tables
- Desks
- Stools and benches
- Upholstered furniture
Request a Restoration Quote
The easiest way to begin is by sending us a few clear photographs of your furniture together with:
- Overall photographs of the piece
- Close-up photographs of any damage
- Dimensions
- Any known history or information about the furniture
Once we have reviewed the photographs, we'll advise whether restoration is possible and provide an initial quotation. In some cases, we may recommend bringing the furniture to our workshop for a detailed inspection before finalising the price.
